The Members in Public Service Committee (MPSC) has been facilitating initiatives to support members aspiring to pursue careers in Civil Services. In this regard, during its 31st Meeting held on 15th May 2025, the Committee decided to constitute a Study Group for detailed deliberations under the convenorship of CA. Chandrashekhar Vasant Chitale. One of the key suggestions was to explore strategic collaboration with reputed Civil Services coaching institutions to support Chartered Accountant members aspiring to join Civil Services.
Pursuant to the above, two Study Group meetings were held with NEXT IAS, Drishti IAS, and Samkalp IAS, and their respective proposals were received by the Committee. Taking the matter forward in the Council year 2026–27, a meeting was held with Samkalp IAS on 30th March 2026 at ICAI Headquarters with Chairman, MPSC, wherein after detailed discussion, it was decided that the offers received from Samkalp IAS may be circulated for the benefit of CA Members without entering into any formal collaboration or agreement/MoU.
Accordingly, the Committee in its 35th Meeting held on 11th April, 2026 approved the circulation of an announcement to inform members about the specialized guidance, mentorship support, and discounted fee structure offered by Samkalp IAS.
It was also noted that, as per ICAI guidelines, any such benefits for CA Members shall be circulated through the Beneficiary Schemes Directorate of ICAI.
