Keep documents/details ready in soft copy:
PAN Card | Aadhaar Card | Passport-size Photo | ICAI Membership No. | Mobile No. | Email ID -
Visit ICAI website and open the DSC Application Link available on the Home page:
Apply for the Class 3 Individual DSC with 2-year validity, free of cost.

Mobile verification and personal details:
Enter your Mobile No. → Mobile OTP → Name exactly as per PAN → DOB → Email ID. -
Application Selection:
User Type: Indian | Product Type: Individual | Certificate Type: Sign | Validity: 2 Years | Token Selection: No Token | Service Charges: ₹0.00 | Click Next. -
Email and KYC verification:
Enter the Email OTP → enter your KYC ID and KYC PIN. -
Select Aadhaar-based KYC:
Select Aadhaar Based → Online Aadhaar → OTP → enter Aadhaar No. → enter Aadhaar OTP. -
Mandatory ICAI Registration Number – In Remarks Field:
Enter your ICAI Registration Number. This is mandatory and it will be referred to ICAI for their approval, after which the application will be processed by us. -
Submit Aadhaar data:
After your data is fetched through Aadhaar, click Submit. -
Review and upload video:
Recheck all entered details. If correct, record/process the verification video and upload it. -
Note the Reference Number:
Keep the REF No. for future communication. CA Team will assist you in downloading the DSC to your token. -
Important:
Verify your Name, DOB, Email ID, Aadhaar details and ICAI Registration Number before submission.
DIGITAL SIGNATURE - APPROVAL PROCESS FLOW
ICAI Member applies for availing the Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) / Digital Signature product through IDSign CA.

IDSign CA will share the list of ICAI Members who have applied with the Beneficiary Schemes Directorate, ICAI within 1–2 working days.
Beneficiary Schemes Directorate, ICAI will verify and validate the membership details of the applicants within 2–3 working days.
After successful verification and validation, Beneficiary Schemes Directorate, ICAI will approve the validated list and communicate/send the approved list to IDSign CA.
Upon receipt of the approved list, IDSign CA will arrange/provide the Digital Signature/product to the eligible ICAI Members within 24 hours.
